What Documents do I Require to Open an Account Offline with Angel One?
You will need to provide a few documents in order to create a demat account online as well as offline.
The following is a list of approved documents needed to open a Demat account:
Identity Verification
- PAN Card (required but obligatory)
- It can also be necessary for you to show a letter of bank verification that includes a photo.
- A picture ID card, such as a voter’s ID, passport, driver’s license, or Aadhar ID, is issued by the federal or state governments.
Address verification
- Proof of Aadhaar, Driver’s License, Passport, Voter ID, and NRGA Job Card must be shown in person while creating an account offline; internet accounts cannot be opened.
- Letter from the National Population Register (NPR) – only for creating an account offline, not online.
Note: After submitting the aforementioned documents, you have three months to provide new, valid documents with your current address.
Documentation of Bank Account
- The account number and name should be clearly visible on your most recent bank statement.
- Signed, personalised or canceled cheque.
Verification of Income
Only trading in derivatives, such as futures and options (F&O), is permitted with this:
- Copy of the acknowledgement sheet for the Income Tax Return (ITR) that was turned in to the Income Tax Department while submitting taxes.
- Bank statement for the previous six months.
- Most recent pay slip.
