When you open a Choice India account, you may be required to pay an account opening fee. This is because the broker may charge an Annual Maintenance Charge (AMC), which is a yearly fee for keeping the Demat account up and running. To help you get a better understanding of the charges you will incur, here are the details:

For the first year, you will enjoy the benefit of AMC free*. However, after that, you will be given plans to choose from. These three plans are:

• A yearly plan with ₹200/- + GST charges.
• A lifetime AMC plan with ₹1,500/- + GST charges.
• A Refundable AMC (full amount will be refunded on account closure) with ₹3,000/- charged.
  

Note:

- If you do not select a scheme, the default AMC will be charged at the end of the first year.

- AMC charges for corporate accounts are Rs 1,000/- + GST per annum starting from the first year.
