What Are The Documents Required For Opening Account With Dhan?
If you currently invest in mutual funds or stock markets and have your KYC records on file with one of the SEBI-registered KRAs (KYC Registration Agencies), opening an account on Dhan is incredibly quick.

When activating your Dhan Account, make sure you have the necessary documentation on your side:
1. Pan Card
Used for identity verification and evidence.
2. A valid driver’s licence, passport, or Aadhaar card
As evidence of address.
3. Bank Verification
A cancelled cheque, passbook or screenshot of your account, all of which clearly state the name of the bank account holder, the IFSC code, and the branch address, will also be accepted as forms of bank verification if supported by your bank.
4. Income proof is Mandatory for the F&O segment
- The bank statement for the last six months
- Latest Salary Slip
- The most recent statement from DP Holdings or any period but not more than three months, and the Holding Value should be more than Rs. 10,000.
- IT return Acknowledgement
- Form 16 for salaried workers.
5. E-sign on a form for opening an account using Aadhaar.
6. Photo upload (selfie captured during the procedure).
7. A photo of your signature, as it appears on your PAN, shot on a white piece of paper or the screen of a smartphone.
Apart from this, during the registration process, Dhan checks your phone number and email address.
Note: There is no possibility of opening an account with the PAN, which does not have an Aadhaar attached to it, as laid down in the Regulations.
