How To Add a Nominee in a Groww Account?
If you wish to create an account with Groww account then adding a nomination is a must for any investor. If you haven’t added any yet, then you can follow the steps mentioned below.
Steps To Add a Nominee in Groww Account

How Do I Add Nominee in Groww Account
Step 1: Begin by logging in to the account with the credentials.
Step 2: Click on the “ Account section” and select the “ Account details” option.
Step 3: Now, go to the “ Declare Nominee” option and click which can be found next to the
nominee details.
Step 4: Find” Add Nominee” and click on it.
Step 5: Now you can add the nominee details and click on the “confirm” option.
Step 6: You have to do an E-sign to continue the process.
Please note: If you have placed a nominee for your account then after that you are not allowed to make any changes after that but you are wishing then you can contact the Groww account support team and they will assist regarding any account queries.
If you are wishing to add a nomination for future investments, you can send an email to support@groww.in. Mention the following information of your nominee details in the Email.
- Name of the nominee.
- Relation of the nominee with respect to the applicant
- Date of birth of the nominee.
If you buy a new stock or invest in a new mutual fund, the nominee data you provided will be updated accordingly.
The entire procedure should take around 10 working days. Once completed, your nominee’s information will be updated in your folio. If you wish to add a candidate to your current mutual fund folios, you must get nomination documents from each mutual fund. Send an email to support@groww.in. You will get nomination papers from the mutual fund companies in which you have invested. Now, follow the steps listed below.
Step 1: Enter the name of the nominee candidate,
Step 2: Mention the relationship with the account holder, percentage allocation, address.
Step 3: The signatures of both the original account holder and the nominee.
