How do you begin in-person verification with Zerodha
Step 1: You may begin the IPV process by visiting signup.zerodha.com/ipv.
Step 2: Next, a 4-digit OTP (one-time password) is generated and displayed on the screen upon clicking the link.
Step 3: Further, clients are instructed to turn on their webcams.
Step 4: Finally. show the OTP on the webcam, and make sure it is visible and readable.
Note: Clients must ensure that the IPV only involves the account holder. If any other people are present, the IPV will be denied. The guardian and the juvenile need only be present while opening a minor account. When opening joint accounts, clients must ensure that each account holder completes the IPV using the mobile number listed on the KYC paperwork.
