How to Change Name in Zerodha Demat Account?
You can change your name in the Zerodha Demat account by submitting the following documents.
Minor name corrections
The following table lists the paperwork needed to make the following corrections:
- Correcting spelling (such as changing Rohan Rahod to Rohan Rathod)
- Swapping names (Vishnu Moolya for Moolya Vishnu, for instance)
- Adding a middle name (Mahesh Nair to Mahesh Damodar Nair, for instance)
- Extending initials and the other way around (Fahadh H to Fahadh Haris, for instance)

Name change due to marriage or divorce
Only offline updates are available for name changes resulting from marriage or divorce. Send a courier for the documents listed in the following table:

Any other reason for a name change
Any other reason-related name changes are only updateable offline. Send a courier for the documents listed in the following table:
