The first method is to visit the official website of Zerodha and generate a new password. Here are the steps to follow.
Step 1: Visit Zerodha’s official website at kite.zerodha.com.
Step 2: Click on the “Forgot User ID or password” option.
Step 3: Enter your Kite User ID and the PAN details.
Step 4: Now, click on the “receive reset link on E-mail or SMS. Provide your email ID If you choose email. If you select SMS, provide the registered mobile number and captcha. Then click on ‘Reset’.
Step 5: Enter the One-time password (OTP) and click on continue.
Step 6: Then, enter the new password and click continue again.
Method 2
You can also log in to Kite using an online authenticator. Follow the steps mentioned below.
Step 1: Set an external authenticator like Google authenticator or Authy. You can download them from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
Step 2: Select can’t scan and then copy the key.
Step 3: Now, open the authenticator app and paste the key.
Step 4: Set up the time-based one-time password (TOTP).
Step 5: Enter the 6-digit app TOTP and click ‘continue’.
