If you want to open an offline trading and demat account, you need to submit the following documents which are mentioned below:
1) Equity trading and demat account form (PDF).

2) DDPI (optional) (PDF). You can submit a DDPI if you wish, but it's not compulsory. If you have opened your account online, you can use the CDSL TPIN to authorize the debit of securities.

3) Commodity account form (PDF).
To submit your application, you need to provide the following documents:
- Sign across a passport-sized photo.
- Submit a copy of your PAN card with your signature.
- Submit a self-attested address proof document such as driving license, voter ID, passport, NREGA job card, NPR letter, or Aadhaar card.
- Provide a bank account proof with your name printed on it, such as a canceled cheque, bank statement, or bank passbook with the bank account number, logo, seal, MICR, and IFSC code visible.
Please make sure to double-check all the documents before submitting them.
If you're planning to trade in F&O, you'll need to provide some proof of income; there are several documents you can use. Here are some options:
- Bank statement for the last six months with an average balance of over ₹10,000.
- The latest salary slip shows a gross monthly income of more than ₹15,000.
- ITR acknowledgement with a gross annual income exceeding ₹1,20,000.
- Form 16 with a gross annual income exceeding ₹1,20,000.
- Certificate of net worth more than ₹10,00,000.
- Statement of demat holdings with current holdings value exceeding ₹10,000.
Refer to the sample equity form (PDF) and commodity form (PDF) to complete the forms correctly.
- Sign all forms according to the signature guidelines (PDF).
- Undergo either a webcam or physical verification process as part of the mandatory In-Person Verification (IPV) requirement for all brokers.

Submit the soft copies of the forms via email to forms@zerodha.com and courier the documents and a cheque in favor of Zerodha Broking Limited for ₹500 towards Equity and Commodity trading account opening charges.
