Here’s detailed information on how to place a stop loss order in Kotak Securities through their mobile application:

Step 1: On your device open the Kotak Securities application.

Step 2: Log in to your account using your credentials.

Step 3: On the bottom of your home screen, look for the ‘portfolio’ tab and click on it.

Step 4: Click on the ‘Positions’ tab, it is placed on the top right of your mobile screen.

Step 5: Select ‘stock’ and then select the position of the stop loss order.

Step 6: Click on the ‘sell to square off’ button, placed on the bottom of your mobile screen.

Step 7: Now choose your order type, either as stop loss limit (SL-LMT) or stop loss market (SL-MKT). 

Step 8: After choosing your stop order type, select the ‘product type’. Product types are cash, NRML, and pay later.

Step 9: Now simply click on the ‘swipe’ option, placed on the bottom of your screen, and your stop loss order is successfully placed.

Step 10: To track your stop loss order status, click on ‘view orders’. To view your orders, click on the open position tab and click on order status. Your order status will be displayed in the dropdown menu of the order status section.
